My mother
My mother
Like tranquil aurora’s radiant sight,
her unconditional love is my driving light;
In every joy and every tear,
my mother’s heart is always so near.
Her hands that cradle, words so kind,
she holds the wisdom of all time;
Her gentle strength, her steadfast grace,
with comforting and warm embrace.
She’s been my rock, my guiding star,
her guidance has led me from afar,
Through life’s great maze, by storm and calm,
she’s been my haven, my soothing balm.
Her laughter bestows the brightest day,
her courage shows me the way;
Her every hug, everlasting smile,
she makes my journey feel worthwhile.
She’s taught me how to stand and fight,
to seek the truth, to have insight;
Her teachings are the seeds she sows,
In every step, her love still grows.
Time may change the paths we roam,
her heart remains my sweet home;
In every challenge, in every start,
she is the beat within my heart.
Here’s to you, my mother dear,
Your love, your strength, forever near,
My endless thanks, greetings I send,
you are my idol, a born friend.
