My Mother

a beautiful lady
with rules and regulations
sour as lemon
and even more
sweet as candy
she sayz no at first
but then insists on a yes
you think of a question
then answers you before you even ask her too guess
she will walk into a groccery store
with only flour and rice in mind
but then comes the vegetables and fruits she just has too buy
she is that one of a kind
she works like twenty-four seven
and then comes home
expecting it clean!
she is a woman
guarnteed you've never seen
one minute she has headache
the next minute she is pepped up
and then the third
she's flyin like a bird
she's completley impatient
but yet she's filled with patience
she'll take care of you
like a gud mom
but when she is angry
she will take a different form
she loves you
and will stick to you like glue
but she only does that
because i love her too!!!:)

Another loving tribute...and yes...a good mom sometimes gets angry, or impatient, but that's perfectly normal....if she loves and cares too. ...Best wishes, nice poetry....Carrie
