My Mom

I'll tell you a story
One of love and loss
It will make you see
That I miss my Mommy

As I recall my happy past
I shed a tear for the one I lost
Swim in the sweet memory
In my heart Mom , you will always be

So shine your loving light
Down on this sore heart of mine
So when I look up at night
I'll know you are fine

Don't be afraid my son
I'm watching you from afar
One day you will come
To join me on this star
