My Mom

My M O M
By Elaine Roy

I was touched by a hand that formed my heart
In the eyes of an angel, where love filled my heart
Where ugly and bad was what I was told, my Mom took her heart to show me, that I was beautiful and touch my soul
Time had no meaning, when it came to healing my wounds; my Mom patiently stitched and patched every whole in my heart
I watch in amazement of how my mom touched, everyone's heart she knew
It was their love and understanding rejoiced, because my mom filled another heart with love!
I learned what prayers were and found that they really work
It was the greatest day of my life, when, I got to call you My MOM!
Thank you, Mom for forming my hearts, so we could say these words!
                   I love you!
Thanks for being my awesome Mom!
