My Mistress
he is not human
like you and I
For she is my mistress
I can not lie
I chance it all
To mount her peak
My mistress’s name
My wife now seek
I love her And need her
In my life you see
Caressing her ridges
To mount her I plea
Her name you will know
Once I say it aloud
Her beauty a mystery
Cloaked in a shroud
I know of the danger
My mistress does hold
mount her I must
Before I’m too old
If i am ugly
And don’t treat her right
She will claim more
Than my marriage that night
If I softly caress
and treat her right
She’ll treat me so gentle
And mount her ......I might
If I show up
Full of anger and rage
She’ll keep me with her
She’ll build me a cage
If I get the chance
To mount her one day
I’ll be firm but gentle
That’s all I can say
If ever chance bestowed unto me
I’d pull out that old cliche
It is not you, it’s all me
I have a mistress, what else can I say
To see my mistress
For years I did save
For glimpse of her beauty
Even textbooks rave
I guess now it’s time
To tell you her name
My mistress is Everest
My love and my dame
I’ve mounted her peak
Now there’s things i must say
I have to go home
With you i can’t stay
I know my obsession to Mount you
Was short lived and too brief
The cost and the distance
That’s our biggest thief
Your peak that I mounted
Was the best of them all
Your mystique and your beauty
In love I did fall
After mounting your peak
I stay for a moment so very small
For you my sweet mistress
My greatest quest of all
I pray she is quiet
And she’s understanding
I pray with her fury
She does not sing
Will she let me go
with fading of day
Or is she so pissed
I’ll eternally stay
