My Mind's Gotten Away

I used to see the light
Of the morning sky
I used to feel the drip
Of your early cry
As I'd wake up next to you
I'd suddenly feel it too

So you might as well say
That my mind's gotten away
From me today
But I'll never be the same again

I used to know many things true
Now I only hear the lies
The same ones as you
Because everything just passes by
But there's nothing I can do
Now to save you

There were times that I felt so well
But now I only feel
Like I just fell
And I know this time it's real
