My Mind Paints a Picture
My mind paints another picture one that I can clearly see
An image of a beautiful angel that means so much to me
Along the beach we walk the waves come crashing at our feet
God brought our hearts together and allowed our souls to meet
Our feet sink in the sand as we look into each others eyes
Not noticing the pretty colors as the sunset paints the sky
So enamored by your smile so perfect and so so sweet
It takes my breath away as my heart skips another beat
The darkness fills the sky as the stars come out and want to play
Hold my heart forever and then add another day
I wish upon the stars at night that your love for me is true
As my mind paints another picture of an angel I know is you
