My Mind and Soul

My mind and soul
tiny golden granular specs,
searing, scorching my barefoot soles

sand kicking up, dashing across, ouch ouch
 leaping the sleeping bodies
 my umbrella awaits

Sand scatters with a wave of my towel
Bending, kneeling, I lay down
sunglasses on, long blonde hair in a bun
smiling, I am golden brown

salty sea breeze sprays
coppertone aroma
all in the suns rays.
My Waves of Stress rolling away
Freeing my mind and soul.
