My Mental, Spiritual Battle

I've fought through the dirt and grit.
I dusted off the hurt, and attacked the culprit!

No more blood in my eyes, and busted lips.
I begin to mentally exercise my craftsmanship.

There were many area's and all I seem to do is fail.
It was borderline hysteria and I begin to raise some hell!

There was shouting and screaming in my head, and I carried around an attitude.
Maybe I was dreaming or possibly dead, but me and death begin to feud!

The Grim Reaper fought a good fight, and I walked away with a spiritual bruise.
I fought between wrong and right, but in the end I refused to lose!

So as i dust off my shoulders and knees, I look forward to a new day.
I overcame this spiritual disease, and walked unscathed through hells gateway!!
