My Memory of You

I hold my memory of you in my hart.
I take special care of it, don’t worry.
It seems to be an inseparable part
Which is snuggled up to me tight and strongly.

It’s being rocked softly by my beating heart
And by my pulsating rhythmically blood.
It‘s wonderful like the greatest work of art,
Or a marvel of nature - a rose’s bud…

It seems to surround me. It’s everywhere;
In the changing wind and in the clear sky.
It is in everything. It is the air
Which I breathe in deep. And please don’t ask me, why…
