My Lover's Touch

I know I'm not skinny,
I know I'm not perfect,
But I want someone to love me,
To show me I'm worth it.

I come with a past,
Just like everyone else,
There's so much love in my heart,
Even after loving myself.

I want to take care of you,
'Til death do us part,
But right now I'm alone,
And broken is my heart.

This love I have to give,
Hurts me so much,
My heart aches for,
My lover's touch.

Trying to love material things,
Isn't the same as loving you,
But until I find my lover,
Material things'll have to do.

This longing in my heart,
Makes my soul ache so much,
Nothing will cure it,
Except my lover's touch.
