My Love Story

MY LOVE STORY

We are in Love.
Like two turtle Doves.
With support from above
Hence, we call each other Beloved.

One day she said come and see my Father,
Including my Mother
Whoa! What do I do? I wonder.
I began to Ponder.
Cos I know her father is like the Tiger
Then she said My Honey,
You don't have to Worry.
Even though for now you don't have Money
I Love you cos you are Funny.

I asked,"Is that all?"
She said,"No! You are the person my heart always call,
Especially when I want to hear some things,
You are always there to tell me sweet nothings.
I was like Hey! You wanna "kill" me today.
What a Dday
I ended the statement with Chei!
But she worked her Magic
Which to me looks "tragic"
Even though I didn't take a bottle of Dubic,
I decided to go face the awful Music.
Hence, I went to her House,
I met her mother wearing a Blouse,
And when her Father came in unannounced,
I became scared like a Mouse.
He said," Can I help you,
I started, "Sir, I think the time is due
For me to tell you,
That I am on the queue,
And that is what I came to do".
He said,"Young man Elucidate."
Or rather Expanciate.
Before I throw you out of the Gate.
Then nervously I said,"I want to marry your daughter.
He remained unshaken,
His eyes deepened,
Like that of a Raven,
And I thought,'What'sgonna happen?
He said young man I know your family and you can't marry my Daughter,
Because your father is a Hunter,
While your mother is a Potter.
Meaning you can't give my daughter ordinary bread and Butter,
Alas, My mouth was full of laughter,
Because he doesn't know her daughter,
Has been eating a full Grass cutter,
In my house which he may even refer to as a Gutter.
"What's funny?" He asked. I wore back my "mask"
And said,"Taking care of your daughter won't be a big task,
Cos in our family, we no dey carry last."
He said,"Tell me more"
I replied,"As I have said before,
My family may be poor,
But the way I have been taking care of your daughter makes her call me L'amour.

As a graduate, I decided not to be useless.
I have started a small business,
With the help of your daughter's kindness.
And in all Fairness,
We will soon achieve greatness.
He became dazed,
And continued to gaze.
It's your turn to become amazed.

So I guessed.
He started,"Now I know you guys have gone far,
As if you are cruising a Ferrari Car,
And I think I have to call her"
Then I said,"Yes Sir" And When her daughter was called she came in looking Nervous.
She thought her dad would be Callous.
But finally he said,"Kneel down and receive
my blessing you guys are now famous.

Though I am a little bit jealous."
Then I smiled like Luscious.
That was how I, a Professional Arbitrator.
Got married to the daughter of a Senator.
And I became a Benefactor.
