My Love

As fun loving kids

When we first met

We'd grow old together

Was always our mindset

Through times good and bad

You always hung in there

Even times when I acted

Like I didn't even care

A rough road I've traveled

And experienced just the same

Yes I got what I deserved

With no one else to blame

But the way that you love me

And are always committed

You're the love of my life

And we're perfectly fitted

A thought occurs to me

You're the piece that was missing

I want to hold you forever

Until then we'd be kissing

Like a fine piece of art

Is finished with a frame

That is exactly why my love

You now have my name
