My Love'

My baby was given to me to love,
A gift from my Father, like a beautiful dove.
She's free like a dove, free to roam,
Anywhere she wants  to make her a home.

As singles something is surely missing,
Searching for bonding, binding love, to find a lady Christian.
Have had relationships that didn't work out,
Because we were missing faith, we had a lot of doubts.

Then my wife came along, a Christian lady,
At first her love drove me a little crazy,
Then my little voice said, "She is the one."
A soul mate, given by God "This is for you my son."

So please be patient you'll find your soul mate,
She will make you happy your love will be great,
God and Jesus is there always for you, have total trust in Him,
Bonded together you'll find love and faith, and together enter His kingdom.

Dear Robert, Forgive my error below. I am on my way to an EKG and have been having a very rough time with multiple health problems. I should probably stay off the soup until I feel better. I knew you wrote this poem. I don't know why I wrote "Dr. Ram." He's a good man, too, Robert and I think you'll enjoy his poetry. Please accept my apology. Love, Carolyn

Dr. Ram, sometimes that voice only speaks to us once. Perhaps that is why I haven't remarried. Still, I remain open and keep listening until the voice speaks again. Thanks for your comments. Hope you'll check out my blog. Love, Carolyn
