My Love

Your eyes are like the moon,
they shine and light up the night,
you took away the pain that i would've soon,
not been able to fight,

You took me in your loving arms to hold,
while you whispered in my ear,
of a love that you foretold,
and of how you love me so dear,

Then you leaned back to say,
with a beautiful ringing sound,
you'd be there for me everyday,
that our love will forever be bound.
