My Love

My love - it is unreliable My love - it is unbearable It’s a miracle We get along It’s a miracle Whether it’s right or wrong All these special memories spent with you You tell me that you loved me, but you were through All these special memories spent with you You tell me that you loved me, but it wasn’t true It wasn’t true love... I look towards Above... I can’t get enough of His enlightenment I can do it...I can do it with His encouragement It wasn’t really true love... God’s way is where I rove My love - it is unreliable My love - it is unbearable It’s a miracle We get along It’s a miracle Whether it’s right or wrong We belong With each other... Like no other... Yet, we hate one another... And I can’t deny it any longer All these special memories spent with you You tell me that you loved me, but that’s nothing new All these special memories spent with you You tell me that you loved me, but it was so out of the blue It wasn’t true love... And I can’t deny it any longer Held back by fear I want to get out of here I want your cheer But I don’t want to shed a tear My adrenalin gets to me Where do I flee? Tell me, where do I flee? My love, I need you to set me free I want to be free...can I be? Well, I can’t when you’re on my mind...on my mind... Well, I can if God can just allow my mind to unwind My love - it is unreliable His love - it is unattainable...
