My Lost Daughter

Do we think that life, is true and fair,
as no-one really seems, seems to really care,
Children cry and children die,
it really brings a tear, a tear to my eye,
To see children suffer in so much pain,
now come on people, lets start again,
I lost a daughter when i was 27,
but i know she is with god, and she is up in heaven,
I long to see her face, to see her face, one day,
but until that day, my heart is filled with pain,
Bridey bridey, i love you my dear,
and some times i feel, you are still here,
Please please watch for me, watch from up above,
as my lost little daughter, i send to you my love

You will see her face again one day, Ken. If I didn't truly believe that, it would be hard to deal with the loss of loved ones. This was genuinely moving and I'm so sorry for your loss. Still, your love for her lives on in your words. Very nice, heartfelt poetry. Merry Christmas! Love, carolyn
