My Life is Good

My Life Is Good
Kevin Davis 2025

My life is good—it makes me smile,
As evening comes, I wake a while,
I trace the day, both calm and true,
And thank the life that brought me through.

My life is good; it carries joy
In humble gifts I still enjoy—
The chance to give, to lend a hand,
To love, to listen, to understand.

I have enough to make my way,
To care for mine from day to day,
With love beside me, close and kind,
And steady peace within my mind.

I ask for little—time and grace,
A softer world, a kinder place,
The strength to serve with open heart,
And leave things whole where once I start.
