My Life Is a Country Song
My life is a country song
Reminding me about the warmth and frost.
The lush green fields,
The smiling daffodils,
The gushing waterfalls,
The golden rising sun ball,
My life is a country song
Reminiscent of the harvested crops
The pear- shaped rain drops,
The canals, the ponds, the streams, the rivers,
The crystal clear water draws me near.
The innocent looks of the little lambs in their fleecy fold
Their skins shelters me in the ice and cold
My life is a country song
Murmuring whispers of the wind that's independent and free
I being a crony of every bee, bird, flower and tree.
The cock's clarion wakes me in the morn
The lengthening shadows indicates that it is dawn.
My life is a country song
Whispering the rustle of the leaves, the lowing of the cows.
Teaches me to be humble and before anyone to bow.
The chime of the temple bells asks me to give to
the prayers first priority.
The tinkle of the bells warns me to work, the highest kind of lordship.
My life is a country song
Sweetly sung on tune
To listen to which we do long
Be it at dusk or at noon.
