My Life Goes Round and Round
My life goes round and round,
like a carousel at an amusement park,
an endless ride of ups and downs,
smiling one minute followed by frowns.
My life goes round and round,
like a carousel at an amusement park,
days, weeks, months and years,
spin before my eyes with floating tears.
My life goes round and round,
like a carousel at an amusement park,
dizziness occurs from all the blur,
as the calliope music is a slur.
My life goes round and round,
like a carousel at an amusement park,
once it stops at the end of day,
I am at rest and not feeling fray.
