My Life, As It Were

I
am
in love.
Now pregnant.
Getting married soon.
Married now, having a baby.
Long time for labor, stress, beautiful baby boy, home now.
First week home, tensions run higher.
Lots of fighting now.
Wondering,
if it's
right.

Your simple and honest poem moved me, and brought back powerful, forgotten memories.

seems to me this is somewhat like what my daughter said...everything backwards, but what a learning lesson...a lifetime to forward to...your writing is so on point....congratulations for having a featured poem...and thank you for your efforts, Rich
