I was a joke in their slam books Until a new wardrobe changed my looks The cool kids called me “pretty ugly” Now I’m Homecoming royalty I was a nerd in the eighth grade Now I’m the it girl in a parade Waving to the whole neighborhood Triumph boiling in my blood
