My Life

MY LIFE

My life is so out of balance tears run from my eyes
and run like fresh rain from a window pane.
My life is out of control like a tumbleweed blowin in the wind
just traveling in any direction I'm not sure of my destination.
My life I spend running from one hand to the other
leaving chaos and pain for another trying to figure out
which heart will love me forever.
My life, I ask one question?
When will I stop running and causing so much pain
my life is like water going down a drain.
Lord please, help me pick the right person
the right heart and help me understand
how to tell them apart. Just let me have that fresh-start.

Rowdy, you have such a beautiful heart! This poem is so much about my life as well. I know the pain you speak of all to well! <3

So much despair and angst. Love always finds a good heart, Rowdy. Love the moniker! Sad write.

Rowdy, as I read your poem, I feel as if being lost in a patchwork quilt of uncertainty. There are several patterns all screaming to be heard and recognized for their uniqueness within your quilt of life. Perhaps it is time to start a new quilt, full of hope and determination. An interesting poem. ~ Sonia
