My Life


I may not be what you think I should; 
I may not act the way that you would, 
but, I refuse to live my life for you, 
 to myself, I shall be true.
I will always follow what feels right, 
 what is in my heart, my life's true light.
I have made my mistakes; that is true, 
but you are NOT the one I have to answer to.
Think what you will, and say what you must 
 but, in my heart, I will trust.
Always remember this one thing too; 
 I may not be perfect, but nor are you.
