My Life

As I trace through the memories
Of my days and my nights
I find a pattern of behavior
That I call my life

It's the kind of life that I have chosen
I repeat certain behaviors over and over again
It's the people that I choose to be with
It’s old acquaintances, I call my good friends

And if you were ask
Who I am, and what I do in this life?
I’d say watch me
And take a very close look at my kids and my wife

For its how we fill our days
And how we end our nights
These things determine the totality
Of what I call - my life
