My Life

Trying to stand I slip
when I ran last lost grip
tripped two hand flip
years I’ve seen skip

At first unhappy with where I sit
now my fortress plane and ship

The world’s nasty if you ask me
hurling past me most ghastly

Everyone selfish in it for their own
taking same selfies with the phone
never cherished if stay unknown
thick make-up to gain partner and home

Every person I’ve known hurt me
some purposely
undone by it all take it personally
don’t want anyone share this perch with me
lost belief maybe should try church and see

My life became one to endure
it could be better but I don’t do more
My life became a cycle bore
pushing up hill left chain on floor
