My Letter To God
Dear God, I need Your strength, Your touch, Your love
Your calm, Your quiet. Your peace of a dove.
Lord, I need to know Your love and presence;
Your courage. Your wisdom. Your. Your essence!
Father, I seek Your way and Your abundant life
In the midst of my weakness, in the center of my strife;
I crave the excellence and the joy to be found
When the soul, the body and mind are sound.
This truly is the day that You have made;
When all else has failed, Lord, You are staid;
Help me to remember Your compassion and mercy
That I might pass it on to someone like me.
