My Letter To God

Dear God, My days are filled with so much sorrow. My nights with dreams of tomorrow. I pray as he lays himself down to sleep, His heart and soul you'll safely keep. Watch over him while he is in Iraq. Please hurry and bring my baby back. I'm tired of these tears running down my face. Please help me through all these lonely day's. I know he had no choice but go. This I have accepted and I know, That if he had a choice he'd be here. Holding me close and keeping me near. I miss him with every fiber of my heart. I hate this distance that is keeping us apart. The only peace I truly find within, Is knowing this all will soon end. That he'll soon be home, holding me tight. And, I'll know everything will be alright. Please, Dear GOD, watch over Darrin. Keep safe my love, my Soldier, my friend.
