My Journey

I climb aboard the plane, to go,
To my next lesson in life, to grow.
I leave behind all I love,
To learn more lessons from up above.
I set about to learn much more,
Putting myself out to a far new shore.
To grow as a person, in spirit and mind.
My staircase to heaven I start to climb.
For when my spirit's lessons, I have none,
When my purpose in life, on earth is done.
I'll walk proudly, head up high,
To my destiny in the sky.
