My Journey

A spiritual journey
I develop more diligently
It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity
Without the journey, there is no point to the destination
To move ahead I must have no hesitation
Your experiences are not who you are
I definitely aim for the stars
We are just the passengers relying on God’s navigation
In life we never have a travel plan but look to our destination
We are nothing but the passengers and God is at the helm
In our lives we are always on a journey here in this earthly realm
So many people are miserable but pretend to smile and grin
But are held captive by their own sins
We are have misconceived notions of time
Remember authority is nothing more than history defined
In a world surrounded with glitter and lies
Through history we all have been cheated and despised
Life is a journey that will never end

“As we get older the journey of our lives does’t really exist to us anymore because we know
we will be entering another journey.”

For many years as a young man, I had a recurring dream, I would be riding in the back seat of a vehicle, another would be driving. I finality realized it was God. Once you realize that it is God who is in command by love, you can relax and enjoy the trip. Sincerely Moses

Very insightful, Jeffrey. We do rely upon our Lord to help us choose the path for our spiritual journey, but as you say, another "journey" awaits when the current one ends. Deep thoughts, very much appreciated. Love, Carolyn
