My Jesus My Shepherd

So good is Jesus, my saviour this goodness he lavishes upon me covering my failures like a true shepherd for He dealt with my sin on Calvary's tree Whatever attacks satan hits me with my shepherd is there to keep me strong His protecting hand covers all of me His blessing fills me to sing His song This shepherd marks out my road goes out in front being my guide holds my hand along the way making sure I swim over the tide When I need to be truly nurtured my shepherd points me to find what is right road for my steps this Jesus my shepherd oh so kind This shepherd laid down His life for me, He died for my sins to atone being my redemption this my shepherd to heaven, my soul will be flown
