My Inner-Peace

Welcome to my life of calamity
The pills give me
my one sense
of sanity
I’ve found Life’s
just too hard of a game
I’m sick of the pain
Living alone
unloved and always afraid
I’m caving in
collapsing on myself
I feel nothing
inside my chest
Just an icy wound
an empty hole
I’m incomplete
I’ve never been whole
Death is just the dream
that I find myself living
But the pills are giving me
what I want
The pills feel like
they’re what I need
The pills are giving me
a single shred of innner-peace
