My Inner Thoughts
Way deep down inside of me
Where the survival instincts lay
The place in my subconscious
Where the id and libido play
Where my nature and my spirit
Weave the fabric of my soul
Where the inner thoughts inside of me
Ultimately set my goal
Where my rhyme meets my meter
And my thoughts I do conceive
I wonder if I’ve done enough
Before I take my leave
