My Inner Child

My inner child protects my heart and soul
but still allows me to be in control.
She knows my secrets, and will not reveal
my thoughts or sometimes how I really feel.
At times my inner child comes to the fore
this is the part of her I do adore
because, in truth she is my very core.

This is very true. Did you ever take the personality test of Dr. Hartmans called Color Code? When you answer the questions, you have to reply as your inner child would reply, like when you were 5 years old. That is your true personality and more important than people realize.
