My Immortal

I believed in you, I would give up everything
For just a chance to find you, hold you
Every time I close my eyes I can see your smiling face
Such a sweet smile that shall always hold a special place

When I sit in silence I can hear your voice softly say
Everything will be all right, tomorrow is a brand new day
You come to me and wipe away all of my intrinsic tears
Place your hand upon my shoulder washing away all my fears

I am trying hard to accept the fact that you are gone
Battling with the guilt, though I know I did nothing wrong
What happened, has happened and nothing I do can change the past
You have become my immortal, for in me your memory will always last

The End
