My Hope

I hope you know
What we meant to me
More than any seed I could ever sow

I hope you understand
The impact you had on me
A little undeserved, better than I planned

I hope in time your stars align
And they come closer than ever before
Yours were dearer to me than mine

I hope you fall again
And he makes you feel alive
Your life should be ten out of ten

I hope he calls you back instantly
And says things the way you like
To be everything to you instead of me

I hope he talks to you when things get tough
And brushes your hair
When your edges are frayed and rough

I hope he tells he loves you everyday
Most of all I hope he means it
More than I could ever say
