My Hollow Still
I crawl pieces of a broken heart
I scrawl the love pages torn apart
Mangled beneath the weight of her hand
Scrambled words to a love story's crushing end
Dull speech to moonlight's icy beam
A loud screech to cold airs splitting scream
I hate you should be the only real to feel
But I love you still fills my hollow still
A numbing knock to life's daily flock
A shattered mind in a state of aftershock
Each step inflicting more pain to a broken stalk
We talk incomplete thoughts as you walk
Love please stop writing my heartbreak
Hurts like a thousand paper cuts on my back
You're an early chapter in my story book
We found the title only when we decided to look
