My Hero, No, My Idol
Who is your hero?
Someone questioned me,
I'll tell you all about her,
So, please listen to me.
She doesn't wear a cape,
Or an iron suit,
She doesn't turn green,
In fact she's kinda cute.
She hasn't got a hammer,
To change she doesn't spin,
She doesn't sling webs,
However, she is my kin.
She held my hand when I was little,
I always looked up to her,
She sat with me on Christmas Eve,
While I hoped to see Santa there.
She made me laugh,
She wiped away my tears,
She gave me strength,
As I faced my fears.
She was beside me when I married,
I stood in awe as she raised her son,
We talked way into the night,
She's always so much fun.
I don't need a hero,
I have an idol instead you see,
She is my big Sister,
She means the world to me.
