My Hero

Your love it shows me the way,
your heart it shows me to stay,
your eys tell me ill be okay,
your smile tells me youll always love me,
your face says cant you see
im drifting off to sea,
the ocean waves match the beat of yur heart.

Where our love grows tart,
bitter but sweet
i can taste the sweetness of your lips,
as you touch me with your finger tips,
We drift off like a song in the spring
but the leaves began to fall
and the sky turned a light gray,
where you are so far away
i cant see you, i grow weak,
to where i cant speak,
you cant walk talk or breath

I dont know where we began
im nervous, anxious to see
Where you lye on the ground
So quite, not moving not a sound

The birds stopped churping the gun shots start shutting away
a crowd of sobing people
A army man dressed in a uniform hands me a flag,
I weep, I cry tears, Knowing my fears came true, you died
my husband, my friend, my hero, and YOU!

dedicatedto my cousin Micheal in the army stationed Afghanistan, and his wife Karen nad teo
kids Mike and Lui.
