My Hero
I want to dance with in your Shadow like a child out at play.
To walk in your footsteps and mimic what you say.
I look up to you, waiting to see your approval and your smile,
I long to be with you, just to sit and maybe talk for a while.
I watch the way you move your hands and the way you hold your head.
I try to know what you're thinking and remember all you've said.
Can we walk down the lane side by side together?
Oh how my heart longs... It is light as a feather.
Please don't ever let me stray, with you forever I want to be.
Never let me forget, how I love you and what you mean to me.
