My Heavenly Father

My individual take on it

My holy Father
That is in Heaven
Holy and perfect in your name.

Let your will happen here on earth
Feed me this day my daily bread.
Guide my feet and protect my head.
For you know my true worth.

Please forgive my transgressions
For I know they are many in life
Help me to be a better wife.
To show only loving expressions.

I want to forgive things others have done
Direct my feet away from where sin dwell
And don't hold onto the lies others will tell
As I know you say for us to love everyone.

Thank you for listening to me and my pleads
No matter where I am at the time I pray
You know what my heart desires every day,
And have answers and provide all my needs.

Amen.


When saying the Our Father in public or groups. I say it as the Holy Bible fave us. Byt When I'm alone it becomes a personal and private prayer just about what I want to have Him hear.
I was once told it was wrong to do this. But God, Yahweh, Christ says to claim Him as our own personal Savior © 2018 Bonnie Hollywood-Cutts

Yes I wanted to have a closer connection to God when I spend time with Him through prayer. So I took the Our Father prayer and took a twist to make it just between Him and myself. so that no one else had any ties to it during that moment of expression. I haven't really shared it out in the general public . Only here and one other poetry site to test it on the members first.
