My Heart's True Endeavor

My heart is at home when it's next to yours
When you speak of your love my spirit soars
I don't know how I ever came to deserve
All your love, a man who lives to serve

I know with you is where I find peace
The stress of the world does cease
When I reach you, bid me to never leave.
If I should my spirit would grieve.

Everyday you add to my contentment
You make me forget the lonely times spent
Calling out to God for someone to love forever
Finding you was my heart's true endeavor

For the man I love eternally.
