My heartbeat

Bad is my heart.
Been that way from the start.
Doc said it's gotten worse.
Should I curse
Yell not fair.
Does anyone care.
Do I dare.
Questions in my head.
Maybe soon I'll be dead.
Maybe not
Is hell hot.
Do Angles really fly
Should I cry.
Why.
I don't feel sad.
Is that bad.
What do I feel.
My heart will never heal.
Missing a beat.
I won't bow down in defeat.
Life has been rough.
But I'm tough.
A slave to air.
My heart does care.
Tears.
Fears.
Feel a bit of cheer.
Life.... I hold dear.
I'm in a good place.
The smile on my face.
A tear in my eye.
I still reach for the sky.
I reach for my star.
My bage..... a scar.
I made it through the bad times.
With a little help from my rhythms.
No fear.
Though I hold life dear.
Alive... my poems will keep my voice.
My choice.
Not to drown in sorrow.
Just thankful for each tomorrow.
Stay strong.
Thinking of a happy song.
You can't go wrong.
Family stands beside me.
My soul is free.
Life goes on....rather or not I'm here.
Emotions stir.
Maybe they are wrong.
I stand strong.
I refuse to drown in pity.
Makes one feel little bity.
Breathing air at this time.
Writing this rhyme.
Means I'm still here.
Stepping above the fear.
Day by day
I'll make my way.
Till the very end.
I shall not bend.
Faith in tomorrow.
I'll be in my land of no sorrow.
Thankful for today.
This is just my way.
