My Heart Your Heart

My Heart your Heart

Will You Lay down next to Me
And Hold Me for Awhile
And Let Your Love Surround Me
Sometimes Life Can Be a Trial

But When We Are Together
The Bad Times Go Away
And I Can Feel Good Again
And Make it Through the Day

Not Everyone Can Understand
The Love We Have to Share
With You and I Against the World
There's Nothing We Can't Bear

So Hand in Hand We'll Walk
Down the Corridor of Time
And Take the Path That True Love Knows
My Heart Yours...Your Heart Mine

I Love You

Hi Connie, Way to go! I love your writing style. The rhythm and beat in your words makes the poem a pleasure to read. The words flow well and showcase that feeling that can only be experienced when love is present in hearts. Very well penned. I’ll be sure to look out to more from you. Vicky.
