My Heart Would Miss a Beat
With every time I see you
My heart does miss a beat
Without you I would be blue
Because you are so sweet
I could not be without you
As I would surely die
My love for you is true
It is what makes me try
Your beauty it surpasses
Everything I have seen
And even your eyelashes
Have you looking like a queen
You will never see me stray
This is where I want to be
Yes I will always stay
As you will surely see
My heart belongs to you
Does yours belong to me
It’s the actions that we do
That set us up to see
Remember I am happy
To always be your friend
It may seem very sappy
But my love will never bend
I will always want to hold you
And keep you safe from harm
You don’t know what I’d go through
To hold you with each arm
If you told me that you loved me
My heart would miss a beat
Its because I am so happy
And you are sweeter than a treat
