My Heart Beats For the Sea

My Heart Beats ForThe Sea

It's as if I hear you breathing
as you knock on my hearts door.
All in perfect rhythm 
of your waves against the shore.

Sometimes watching sunsets
with you where I take walks.
And listen like a lover
as you kiss the shoreline rocks.

From one moment to another
no place I'd rather be.
Than looking at your beauty
oh how I love the sea.

From days when thunder echoes
I can almost feel your rage.
Each days brand new dawning
like the turning of a page.

When life is much too heavy
and my heart is broke in three.
Should you find me on land
know my heart beats for the sea.

My dreams my hope my future
my friend and lover too.
Nothing moves me deeper
than when by the ocean blue..
