My Heart and Eyes
My heart and my eyes are really just one
Yearning to find yet another connection done
Here before me lies a blank page
Evaporating thoughts released from the cage
Always another connection to be making
Returning to give instead of taking
Today I see clearly the life together
And thoughts drift off as light as a feather
Now my heart tells me what was felt
Dropping some cards in the hand I was dealt
Everything seems to have its own special place
You look to the sky and encounter all of space
Even the stars and the moon start to shine
Sunset approaches as the day unwinds
