"my Hair"

My Black African nappy hair
to cut low is not fair.
I am bold in the middle.
Some grows out and some grows in
some are thick and some are thin
my hair is neither brown, nor gray
so see my wave and I am brave
to cut my hair
and it's not fair.

Well Not all of us are that brave I won't let anyone touch my hair. I simply cut it off on my own . Of course its uneven and a mess at best! Great little poem no one ever writes about hair what a clever write! Thank you for sharing! Laura :) Happy New Year!
