My Good Friend
I’d like to tell you
about my good friend
a constant companion
best friends til the end
she’s always been there
boosting my spirits
wrapping me in warmth
oh isn’t she the dearest
she’s super duper fun
the life of the party
but back in highschool
it was her making me tardy
everyone loves her
insisting I share
we pass her around
but she doesn't seem to care
always plenty of laughs
she's guaranteed to provide
passing out munchies
and constant good vibes
we enjoy listening to Marley
and other good tunes
never any bad ones
she makes us immune
sometimes she sparkles
and then she’s way more fun
everyone loves her
except for... maybe the nuns
even after all these years
she makes me very happy
I breathe her all in
and I never feel crappy
the best part of it all
she takes away my pain
she’s my good friend
I call her Mary Jane
