My God and Your God

Abdul, Moshe, Patrick and John Listen real close before its all gone Akiro, Singh, Gonzales, and Lee Listen real close listen to me My God and your God is one and the same Even though he sends different thoughts to our brain You know thats really not our affair As long as we all know he's really there He's far to complex for us to comprehend However thats no excuse why we can't be friend I can tell you this without fear of an error We can all love him fine because he is fair It's my job to worry greatly about me I must leave his work to he who all sees Into my heart I must constantly peek To insure darkness of evil doesn't insidiously leak It's not our job to judge or condemn We are meant to love and be true to him So to you I wish a glorious day May we all get along as we go on our way So being our God is one and the same Don't you think we should start using our brain We should stop being mean and infliciting such pain Befor on us his hellfire does rain We act like we ain't got common sense For that kind of behavior there ain't no defense He looks down upon us shaking his head Says you better get it right before you are dead Reflect on his message, it's peace and goodwill Then we cn be friends and know his love with a thrill I look forward to that kind of a life I truly believe we can stop all this strife So the next time you stop for you to pray Remeber these words to you I do say I don't know you well but it would be swell And I tell you I love you to stay out of hell Being our God is one and the same Don't you think we should start using our brain Being our God is one and the same Don't you think we should start using our brain
